Tekonsha Primus IQ features the primary sensor technology which made Tekonsha's Prodigy famous. It senses the rate of deceleration and applies braking power to your trailer accordingly. Built in diagnostics verify proper connections and alert you to problems as they occur. We recommend it for anyone that needs proportional braking without the bells and whistles of some of the more expensive controllers.

Features plug-n-play capability on pre-wired vehicles
using our custom fit adapters (see below)

Works proportionally in forward or reverse
Features the exclusive "Boost" feature that gives users the ability to apply a faster rate of initial trailer braking power (especially useful when towing heavier trailers).
Includes a 3 ft. pigtail connector for ease of connection when using a standard brake control wire harness, or Custom Fit "No Splice" Wiring Adapters are available for simple plug-n-play installation on vehicles which are pre-wired for electric brakes.
A quick and easy wire harness disconnect feature allows users to remove the control when not in use and store in a supplied protective pouch.
Snap-in dash mounting clip and hardware included. Allows quick removal when not in use.
